Christine & John-Hour 4

Situation: Anders was golfing in his front yard, when he struck Michael in the upper thigh with a golf ball causing a bruise to form instantly. Michael then dropped to the ground, hitting his head on the ground. When Michael got up his friends could tell that his face was paler than normal and they informed him to lie down right away on the grass.

Symptoms: Nausea, tired, pain in thigh, confusion, and headache

1. Seeing Michael in this position in the middle of the street, what should you do first to help him?
2. After looking at his injuries what should you take care of first?
3. After realizing he has a concussion what medical treatment should you treat him with?
4. Should you call 911 for his conditions?
5. What kind of treatment should you give for someone experiencing shock?
6. If the victims head is white what should you do with their legs?
7. What is a type of question you should ask from a SCA?

8. Should you feel if there are any deformities in his leg?

9. OPTIONAL: Do you think Michael should be a big boy and play in his next golf match??
